Welcome to the WORLD OF MANUFACTURERS tutorial for buyers, importers, manufacturers and exporters. This tutorial will help you understand all features of the trade portal and how to find and/or list the information you need quickly and accurately.

WORLD OF MANUFACTURERS is a complete online trade portal which connects international buyers and suppliers. Buyers can search through thousands of products using the comprehensive sort and search functions and can contact suppliers directly. Suppliers can introduce their factories and showcase their product range to an international audience in their personal online showroom.
WORLD OF MANUFACTURERS aims to make the international buying experience as easy as possible for buyers and suppliers across the globe by enabling buyers to extend their scope and connect with manufacturers and suppliers who would otherwise prove impossible or very expensive and time consuming to contact. WORLD OF MANUFACTURERS is the world's fastest growing online trade portal and the leading provider of online marketing services for importers and exporters. It is the place for buyers and sellers to find trade opportunities and promote their businesses online. WORLD OF MANUFACTURERS is not a trading company but rather an online business platform, where you can search or post information to help find potential business partners.
Registration is free and should only take just a few minutes. To register your company, click on the "Registration" link in the left menu.
Fill out your information and click on the "Submit" button. Please
note the following:
Choose a LOGIN and PASSWORD you will remember. When filling out your LOGIN, the button "Check if Available" will appear. Because the LOGIN needs to be unique for each user, this will allow you to check if your LOGIN is already in use by other user or if your preferred LOGIN is available and you can use it. Also, it's critical to fill out the EMAIL section correctly. Once you submit the form, the system will send you a confirmation email to verify your email address is correct. It takes just a few seconds to receive the email, although we have experienced several minute delays in some countries and with some providers.
When you receive the email, confirm your registration by clicking on the link in the body of the email. (Make sure you display the email in HTML format in order to confirm the link. If your email client doesn't support the HTML format, you need to copy and paste the whole link into your browser.)
Once confirmed, your registration is completed and you can LOGIN into your account.
* It's possible that the confirmation email arrives to your "spam" or "junk" email folder (depending on you email security settings). If this happens, we strongly advice you to contact your network administrator and allow all emails from oibly.com domain. This way, you will not have any problems receiving updates from WORLD OF MANUFACTURES or potential buyers in the future.

WORLD OF MANUFACTURERS offers 4 levels of memberships (FREE, BRONZE, SILVER and GOLD)
to allow you to find the best match for your company's presentation.
When you register with WORLD OF MANUFACTURERS, you automatically become a FREE Member and can keep your FREE Membership as long as you wish, or upgrade to higher membership to improve your companys presentation, gain additional functionalities and features and get better listings and visibility in the directory.

There are many elements playing an important role when deciding what membership is the best for your company. We recommend using a FREE membership first, get familiar with the trading portal, post your company and products to the directory and after that, see section "UGRADE / RENEW Membership" in your profile for more specific information about each level of membership.

|2.1 LOGIN to you account and navigation||back to top|
To LOGIN to your account, click on the link "Login" in
the top menu. Enter your "login" and "password" and click on the
(If you forgot your login and/or password, click on "Forgot your password?" link, enter your email and the login information will be sent to you right away.)
Once you LOGIN into your account, you will see the main navigation menu:
Member information includes the name of primary account holder (editor), your member ID and also the status of your membership.
Manage Products (described in section 2.4)
|2.2 General Company Information (listing your company)||back to top|
This section of your profile allows you to publish information about your company. To navigate through your profile, use the folders on the top:
Company Information provides the general information about the
company, such as business address, phone numbers, etc. If the red star is next
to the field, the field is required and needs to be filled out in order to save
Company Description provides the general description of your company. If there is no description created, you will see a blue link "No description". Click on the link and insert your information. The snapshot of this description will appear next to your listing in the directory. You can also upload a picture related to your company (logo, picture of your factory, your team etc.).
Contact Information allows you to fill out more detailed information about points of contact with the individual departments of your company. It is strongly recommended to fill out at least the General Contact otherwise buyers might not be able to contact you.
Certificates folder provides the "credibility" for your company. If your company is certified (example: ISO 9000), you can upload the proper information and attach the scanned copy.
Company Presentation allows you to attach up to 3 files (see 1.3 Different Memberships for the file size limitations).
Categories folder is where you can select in which categories your company will be listed. It's absolutely necessary to complete this folder if you want your company to appear in directory listings. In the 1st window (Main category) you can select only one main category and click on "Next". In the 2nd window (Category) you can select up to two categories from the list and click on "Next". In the 3rd window (Sub-Category) you can select any number of categories, in which you want your company to be listed and which are describing your product line. Then click on "Next". For your convenience, you can review the categories your have selected in confirmation window, and if you are happy with your selection, click on "Done". Your company will be displayed in selected categories in the directory instantly.

Section Manage PRODUCTS allows you to post, edit or remove your products for the Product Catalog directory. When clicking on Manage PRODUCTS in the profile navigation, you will see your Showroom summary.
Total product profiles informs you how many products your membership
allows you to post. (See section 1.3. Different Memberships)
Posted product profiles informs you how many products you have already posted. You can see posted products listed bellow with the buttons next to it, so you can individually edit or delete them or change the categories in which you want the specific product to be listed.
Available product profiles informs you how many more products you can still post.
Post a New Product will open a product form. Fill out this form in as much detail as possible. You are also allowed to attach a picture of the product. Once you complete the form, click on the "Submit" button. Then, you need to select the categories in which you want your Product to be displayed in the Product Catalog directory. Once you select the categories, your product will be displayed in the directory instantly.

Section Manage TRADE LEADS allows you to post, edit or remove your Trade Leads for the Buying and Selling Leads listings. When clicking on Manage TRADE LEADS in the profile navigation, you will see your Trade Leads summary.
Total trade leads profiles informs you how many selling /
buying trade leads your membership allows you to post. (See section 1.3
Posted trade leads informs you how many selling and buying trade leads you have already posted. You can see posted trade leads listed below with the buttons next to it, so you can individually edit or delete them or change the categories in which you want the specific trade lead to be listed.
Available trade leads profiles informs you, how many more trade leads you can still post.
Post a New Sell Lead will open a selling trade lead form. Fill out this form in as much details, as possible. You are also allowed to attach a picture or connect the lead with one of your products. Once you complete the form, click on "Submit" button. Then you need to select the categories, in which you want your Lead to be displayed in Selling Leads listings. Once you select the categories, your Lead will be displayed in the listing instantly.
Post a New Buy Lead functions the same as the Sell Lead section, but the lead will be displayed in Buying Leads listing.

The purpose of this section is to offer WOM members marketing tools to better promote their company. This section is currently under development.
|2.6 Registration / Billing Information||back to top|
Section Registration / Billing Information allows you to update the information about the administrator of your account. Information in this form is used for billing of BRONZE, SILVER and GOLD members. (see section 1.3)

A general tip is to fill out as many information as possible with your membership status.
In Company information, make sure you fill out your address and phone numbers properly, as well as URL of your website (if you have any). There is nothing worse than a buyer trying to contact you on incorrect numbers.
Post as much information as possible about your company in Company description and Company certifications.
Post as many products as your membership allows you. Your products will be listed in the product catalog and it will add another way for buyers to find you.
If you have a special offering (and if your membership allows you), post selling trade leads to increase the visibility of your company and your products.
The last (and most important) tip is not to forget to select the proper categories in which you want your company listed. You can have a complete profile, but without selecting categories, your company will not be listed.

|3.1 Top Navigation||back to top|
The Main Navigation Menu is easy to use, but also very strong search tool. You can search for the right company in 4 independent listings:
Companies - search by the companies.
Products - search by the products and then see, what company manufactures them.
Buying Leads - for sellers to find, what are buyers looking for.
Selling Leads- for buyer to find what are sellers offering.
All listings and sorted in 3 levels of categories:
Selecting the main category via drop down menu will display the listing of companies/products/trade leads listed in the category and also will display the Sub-Category selection and so on.
If you are looking for a supplier in a specific geographic region, you can adjust the listing by selecting the region (Asia, Europe, etc.), or the specific country (USA, India, etc.) in the drop down menu on the right hand side:
NOTE: Once you select the geographic region/country, all the listings will be displaying the results in the specific area ONLY even if you change your category selection. If you wish to display the global listing again, you need to unselect this back to default "All Regions" or "All Countries" option.

Once you have completed the selection in the Main Navigation Menu, you can see the results of your search in the main window. First, the result bar will tell you how many company profiles are matching selected criteria (i.e. Results 1 - 10 of 18 manufacturers of "Machinery" in India). You can also see listings of all the individual company profiles matching your criteria.

The Company profile consists of 6 main information folders (Company Info, About Us, Products, Trade Leads, Certificates and Contact Us):
- Company Info provides you with general information about the company, such as business address, phone numbers, etc.
- About Us provides more detailed information about the company, company presentation, history etc.
- Products folder provides information about individual products company manufacturers.
- Trade Leads folder displays any trade offers (buying/selling) company offers.
- Certificates displays company certifications (i.e. ISO 9001 etc.)
- Contact Us folder allows you to contact any BRONZE, SILVER or GOLD members directly via online secure form.
